Elva is still the best groomer for our dogs. She is now mobile which makes my life easier. We spend a couple weeks in Los Angeles every month and unless an emergency (as in I cannot handle how filthy or stinky our precious doggies are) we only have our precious dogs groomed my Elva. They don't like being groomed but when they see Elva they are not shaking. Always clean teeth, perfect nails, and great fur. Better still, Elva pays attention! She notices changes in our dogs that we may miss and even those we do not. We had been treating out dog for a skin condition and after a few months Elva commented that she actually felt there was not an improvement (wishful thinking on our part), shared what she knew of another dog she grooms who had a similar skin condition and referred us to their veterinarian. Suffice it to say, we went to that vet, ended up with a different diagnosis altogether and our dog no long has a problem with their skin.
We trust Elva with our dogs and will always use her and her team as long as she is in business.

I took my rescue here today and was pretty excited after reading the reviews on yelp. I was appalled at the results....my poor baby was so upset when I picked him up. I immediately saw that they had nicked him near his forehead while cleaning his tear stains. When I mentioned it to the owner, I was told it will heal!! I was so upset. I am never coming back...it's cheaper than most places and now I know why. Horrible results...they did not cut the hair underneath his paws properly, poor guy has been licking one of his paws all day ever since we got him back. On inspection, I see they had nicked him under the paw as well.
Do yourself and your precious fur ball a favor and avoid this place. I regret my decision and hope my baby feels better soon.

9/24/2011- We love K9 grooming! We take our dog, William, every few months and Elba always knows who he is! She is so sweet and kind! William has been going to her for years, starting with his time at the Lange Foundation. We decided to keep going to K9 groomer since William knew them - and it was the best decision! William is disabled and had a broken pelvis from being hit by a car. He is totally healed now, but very weary of people touching his hind quarters and tail. The staff is very gentle with William and I feel like my baby is in good hands! We love them and so appreciate their quality work! Mary-Genevieve W.
